See Sisko Reunited With Dukat In Preview Of ‘Star Trek’ #9

This week IDW releases the ninth issue of their ongoing flagship Star Trek series, delivering the third part of “The Red Path” storyline leading up to the big “Day of Blood” crossover event which kicks off next month. The series is written by Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing, the leads behind IDW’s Star Trek: Year Five series, with art by Mike Feehan (Marvel’s Star WarsAnt-Man). We have a 5-page preview of issue 8.

Synopsis: 

After a surprise encounter with the adrenaline-jacked Red Path during their infiltration of the hidden Cardassian facility, the Theseus’ crew must recover the Orb of Destruction-and make it out alive-if they’re to put a stop to Kahless’ bloody reign. But with Captain Sisko standing trial on Cardassia Prime with Commander Data by his side, can his crew succeed when they are divided?

Volume 1 collection arrives in July

IDW’s first collection from the Star Trek series will be released on July 18. Volume 1 (titled ‘Godshock”) collects the first six issues from the series. You can pre-order Volume 1 in hardcover from Amazon for $24.99.

Heh, I see Shaxs.

First page of the preview: “I have followed your mission. Hunted Kahless. Saught his weapon.” Ow, whether hand-lettered or typed, that’s a painful typo: s/saught/sought/. (As a separate matter, “sought” being the past tense of “to seek” is just English being weird.)

This series is absolutely bonkers

It’s a good thing none of this is canon.

What a mess.
