See Uhura Fight Her Way Out Of A Romulan Prison In Preview Of ‘Star Trek: The Motion Picture – Echoes’ #3

On Wednesday IDW hits the halfway point for their new mini-series that takes us back to the 1970s with Star Trek: The Motion Picture – Echoes. The five-issue series is set immediately after the events of the movie and it’s written by Marc Guggenheim, creator of the Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow CW television series. Echoes features artwork by Oleg Chudakov and colors by DC Alonso, along with a series of different covers for each issue. We have details, covers and a 5-page preview.

Synopsis: 

Akris-a maniacal doppelganger of Chekov from a parallel universe-has begun working with the Romulans on a superweapon with a promise to reduce the Federation and its allies to ash. And with half the bridge crew in Romulan custody, it’s up to Spock and McCoy to hold down the ship and devise a plan to get their captain and crewmates out of enemy hands!

Damn this looks good!! Surprised to see the Star Trek V shuttle where you’d think they would have used a TMP shuttle (with or without warp sled). That being said, makes sense some would be in service.
And damn Uhura looks good!!!! How I miss Nichelle Nichols
