IDW has just released their December 2020 solicitations with synopses and covers for all their titles. There will be two new Trek titles for the month. This includes the second in the new Seven-focused Star Trek: Voyager mini-series that debuts in November.

Agreed. That’s a pretty horrible likeness of Seven. IDW can do better.
Put spots on her and color her hair dark, she could be Jadzia Dax….
I’m dropping a line to say that I’ve been disappointed with the quality of the bindings on IDW compilations.
We’re not buying them to leave them in a pristine collector’s package. They get read and re-read by at least three members of our household. We’re gentle with the spines, but pages come out.
Since we’re enjoying reading them, I’ll keep buying them, but I’m pretty exasperated with IDW.
The past two or three years, IDW’s quality has been dropping a LOT.
It’s really unnecessary and unfortunate.
Comic compilations and graphic novels from other publishers don’t fall apart by the time the third person reads them. In fact, they don’t fall apart at all.
We’ve bought an extraordinary number of graphic novels and compilations in the past several years as our kids have moved through middle-grades to high school. They get heavy reuse.
We just don’t see this kind of problem happening with any ones other than IDW. The first time pages started coming out of one of them, the child who was reading it was upset and stunned.
So, a message to Kirsten Beyer and the licensing team at CBS Studios: it doesn’t do your brand image good when Trek publications have poor physical quality and manufacturing no matter how great the content.
Can we not with the pandemic storylines? Please? Like, just not right now.
Most comic and novel storylines are worked out a long time in advance. I’m sure this one existed before the pandemic. It’s only coming out now, which is unfortunate timing.
