Just a heads up for people. Nickelodeon Croatia has aired this episode early and seems to be airing the rest of the season way earlier then Paramount+ is doing. Some people on Reddit and various forums have been posting spoilers on random posts already (i sadly have had Dal’s identity spoiled for me). So if you visit any Prodigy thread/forums be careful what posts you read.

Yep it happened to me too lol. I too have been spoiled on Reddit. It’s my fault I looked. But yeah knowing what it is, it’s safe to say people will be totally surprised. But if you don’t want to know, be cautious reading the boards this week.

He’s one or the salamander babies from Paris and Janeway isn’t he

Let me put your soul to rest now, NOOOOOOOO! ;)

That would’ve been A-W-E-S-O-M-E, had he been an offspring of Janeway’s!!! 🦎🤣

But now I’m all paranoid — where all should we AVOID reading, if we don’t want it to be spoiled yet.. at least that you guys know of? 😱💦 And WHEN is the big reveal happening?

Honestly I seen just one post on Reddit so far and only four people posted on it lol. Most people stayed away because the poster made it clear it was huge spoiler. I been on a few other boards and nothing else so far. And it will happen this episode. He confirmed it was episode 15.

Thanks! 😶

Haha oh good, I’m excited for it either way!

“Trapped in the Neutral Zone, the crew encounters a rogue geneticist who sheds light on Dal’s past.”

Please not a Soong, please not a Soong…🙏

(It’s totally gonna be a Soong, isnt it?)

Gee. What. A surprise. Said no one, ever.

We’ll see if this comment ages as well as Larry David selling crypto….

A Soong would be awesome. Brent Spiner is always fun. I guess Alton would be the contemporary Soong though, and he’s a cyberneticist rather than a geneticist.

I actually agree. I think a Soong would be awesome too. But would he be an Android, clone or augment? The Soongs kept busy! 😂

I cackled when AI Soong showed up in Picard, but at this point, the joke’s worn thin for me – a mad scientist Soong popping up isn’t an unexpected treat after PIC S2; it feels like only flavor in the shop. But given that Prodigy is kind of Trek 101, that’s where I’m guessing it’ll go, probably with a passing reference to Data too.

I agree with you bro I’m sick of the Soongs too. But this would just be about his work. All the Soongs are dead now other than Alton but was he even building Androids in this period?

I was under the impression it wasn’t until after the attack on Mars he teamed up with Maddox?

My fear is that they’ll invent another one for Spiner to voice. But you’re likely right – it’ll probably be a devotee of Arik Soong carrying on his work.

I’m one who appreciates the character credits on the photos.

It was really helpful to have it confirmed that yes that is Murf in what looks like one of our kids’ old puzzle balls.

But one nitpick, holo Janeway and Janeway are both just identified as ‘Janeway’ on the photo tags, while TrekMovie is always careful to distinguish them in the article text.

Interestingly, TrekMovie editors appear to be adding these by hand, meaning not using copy & paste from a pre-saved cast list, as there are issues with them, reportedly: the 4th new image credits “Kete Mulgrew as Janeway,” Tysess lost an “s” in the credits, and then there’s the constant (but random) double-spacing issue. 🤔🤷‍♂️😉

*repeatedly 😅

Unfortunately the secret to Dal’s past has gotten out thanks to a country showing the episode early and I been spoiled. So if you don’t want to know, avoid some of the boards. But I am interested in seeing where it will go, it is a pretty big reveal.

Thanks for the warning – I do sometimes stumble upon the random Trek story outside of our safe confines here…

So much waiting now. Can’t wait for the big reveal. I bet will be totally awesome.
